SEMA Show 2019: Las Vegas
With this years SEMA Show approaching in early November, we'll be there to see everything it has to offer.
What's sure to be another amazing show where over 160 thousand attendees bear down in Las Vegas, this year will be no exception. Every year, specifically the first week in November, everyone from low key garage builders, to painters, to aftermarket suppliers and more, all congregate at arguably the best automotive show on earth; at least from an aftermarket standpoint. The show which runs just under a week in length is the mecca for automotive community. It's an opportunity for people to come together, share stories & ideas, and display what they have been working on over the past year. With cars like new Toyota Supra being released the second half of 2019, it is sure to make a big showing at this years event.
Having had the opportunity to build 2 vehicles in the past for this event I can share first hand the hard work and dedication to preparing a vehicle for such a show. Pictured above was my 2013 Scion FR-S built for (at the time) Scion's, Tuner Challenge event which was held yearly at the show. While Scion is no more, being rolled up into its parent company Toyota, they had built quite a new for themselves just a few years ago. Teaming up with companies like BASF, Borla, AirRex, Recaro, Pirelli, COR Wheels, and many more, it's an opportunity for those manufacturers to showcase their products on a spotlight vehicle project.
In the coverage of this years show, we'll take a look at what others have been building over the past year, what new products we can expect to see for newly released vehicles like the Toyota Supra, and catch up with friends who all make the journey to the desert.
